Gangarama Temple Colombo
Located in the inner city of Colombo next to the Beira Lake, the Gangaramaya temple is very popular tourist attraction owing to its features offering the visitors of glimpses of changes and continuities of Lankan history as well as Buddhism. Its treasure-trove museum holds an innumerable number of Buddha statues from all over the world along covering various Buddhist traditions – Theravada, Mahayana, Tibetan, Northern and Zen Buddhism.
